Tesmec S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of machinery for building and maintaining infrastructure, headquartered in Grassobbio (Bergamo) and listed on the Milan stock exchange. Surface miners: mining without drilling and blasting
Tesmec surface miners with Rock Hawg technology cut, crush and load the material in a single pass. The rock is milled directly to a uniform, conveyor-ready size, so the drilling and blasting cycle, and often a stage of primary crushing, disappears from the flow sheet.
WHAT IT CHANGES ON SITE
Selective extraction of thin or interbedded seams, with lower dilution and ore loss. Uniform product size straight from the cut, ready for haulage or the crusher/ No blasting: no vibration, no fly rock, no blast permits and exclusion windows. Even, trafficable mine floor and clean, stable highwalls. Continuous, predictable production instead of a blast-driven cycle.

Machine selection always starts from the geology: rock compressive strength, abrasiveness, seam thickness and the required output. We collect this data with your technical team and have the production study prepared by the factory.

Trenchers
Tesmec trenchers cut a clean, ready-to-lay trench of a set width and depth in one continuous pass, in ground where an excavator would need ripping or blasting. The trench walls are straight and the spoil is uniform, which cuts bedding sand, backfill and re-work.
Rocksaw — hard rock, narrow trenches for cables and fibre, and bulk excavation
Chainsaw — medium and soft ground, deep and wide trenches for pipelines
Bucket wheel — large cross sections and high volumes in soft to medium ground

IT WORKS
Technical scoping. We collect the geological and production data for your site and have the factory prepare the machine selection and the expected production study.
Commercial proposal. Budgetary and firm quotations come from Tesmec, with delivery terms, tooling and spare parts packages worked out for your operation.

Commissioning and training. Machine handover and operator training on site, together with the manufacturer's specialists.
